    The city tour of Lima start from your hotel in Miraflores or San Isidro, at around 09:15 am in our private tourist car, the first place its. Pre-Hispanic Lima: We begin by visiting the Pucllana Pyramid, built in the 4th century A.D. It is a magnificent ceremonial center, and was considered sacred by the Incas. You will also learn about the textiles, buildings, and way of life of the people who lived in this area at the time it was built. Colonial Lima: We will visit the Historical Center of Lima, where you will see lots of beautiful monuments and Colonial buildings, the Paseo de la República, San Martín Square, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, and the City Palace. Also a visit to the Museum of the Banco Central de Reserva, where we will see the Treasures of Peru collection, a fine selection of objects made of gold, ceramics and textiles from different pre-Columbian cultures. Then we will visit the monumental San Francisco Convent, which displays the largest collection of religious art in the Americas. We will also visit the underground vaults, known as Catacumbas or Catacombs. Contemporary Lima: We will visit traditional residential areas of Lima, such as El Olivar de San Isidro, Miraflores and the Larcomar mall. *The Museum of the “Banco Central de Reserva” is closed to the public on Saturday and Sunday. The tour lasts about 4-hours and ends with transfer back at your hotel in Lima.
