  1. We will pickup from your hotel at 3:30 a.m between 4:00am. Drive through Peru’s rugged mountain landscape for a few hours until reaching the town of Quessiuno where you will have breakfast before starting the hike after the previous stop for breakfast. We start our hike to the impressive  Rainbow Mountain. Trek uphill for roughly 2 to 3 hours, taking in the colorful views of the Rainbow Mountains. Learn about the local flora and fauna from your guide as you go. Once reaching the peak of the mountain, take time to enjoy the view of the mountain and the snow-capped Ausangate beyond. Then, make your way downhill and get your lunch. Return to Cusco at roughly 19hrs. You will get dropped off at the Regocijo Square, one block from Cusco’s central plaza. This tour is recommended for those in strong physical shape who have acclimated to the altitude. It is also possible to rent a horse (own expense) if you don’t wish to hike too much.
