  1. Day 1: Arrive Cuzco Airport: City Tour Inca ruins

    Upon your arrival to Cusco, we will take you to the hotel booked by Machu Picchu USA then join your guide for a briefing about the wonderful tour that awaits you. Begin the day with a tour of Cusco enjoy the sights of Cusco's the capital of the Incas. At 1:20 PM. We will pick you up from your hotel to begin your tour. From here, you will head to Cusco’s Plaza de Armas, where you will visit the famous cathedral. Following, you will continue on foot through an ancient Inca-built street from the Plaza de Armas to the Q’oricancha, the Temple of the Sun. At the Q’oricancha you will be able to compare and contrast the building methods of the Incan culture and Catholicism. This was the key spiritual center of the Incas, which leads to all four quarters of the Inca Empire. There is also a bronze, high altar to be seen. From Q’oricancha, your group will walk down Avenida El Sol, where you will take your bus outside of the city. You will be taken to the majestic Inca site, Sacsayhuaman, with its enigmatic, 200 ton monoliths, You will be able to hear from your guide and then, explore on your own. From Sacsayhuaman, you will take a five minute bus ride to the Q’enqo Inca site to see its fascinating Incan altars. Following, you will take another five minute drive to Puca Pucara, a small, circular Inca site. The final stop on our tour is Tambomachay, a water temple with impressive water fountains, thought to be used by the Inca for bathing. We’ll then drive back down to Cusco ends 6:45pm.   2. Day 2: Sacred Valley Tour  Pisac, Ollantaytambo, Chinchero ruins Full-Day

    8:10 am we will pick you up from your hotel. Then we will drive on a road that winds around the mountains north of Cusco. On the way, we will stop at a famous point known as (Lookout Point). From there, we will be able to see the Sacred Valley and gain some insight into the Inca history. The Sacred Valley was one of the main areas the Incas settled. There is an unusual abundance of fertile plains in this high area of the Andes. You will also witness vast contour terracing and irrigation channels left behind by the Incas. Later on, we will drive towards the ruins of Pisac. Here, you will witness and learn about Inca culture. You will see amazing works of stone art and impressive agricultural terraces. After exploring, we will drive back to the lower town of Pisac to stop at a bustling handicraft market. After you spend some time walking around the market bargain hunting, at Urubamba town we will stop for buffet lunch at a local Andean restaurant. After lunch, we will drive along the Urubamba River towards the town of Ollantaytambo. Once we reach Ollantaytambo, we will visit the ruins, an important area of Incan construction, built during the Inca’s heydays. This is an extraordinary Inca site because you can find rock formations representing the Inca god, Wiracocha. Afterwards, we will return to Cusco around 7:45pm. (OVERNIGHT IN CUSCO)
  3. Day 3: Cusco – Km 82 - Wayllabamba (Meals: L,D) Camp

    Today we will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00am. We drive to Km.82 main checkpoint (Piscacucho). The guide will organize the group for registration at the control point on the entrance to the Inca Trail; the first thing we see is the River Vilcanota, which we cross without difficulty by a fixed bridge, followed by two hours of walking to the community of Miskay where we will have lunch and rest before continuing. 40 minutes later we reach a place called Llactapata or Patallacta where the first ruins are located; it may have been an agricultural center that provided food to Machu Picchu. The guide will explain about Llactapata and afterwards we continue for two hours as far as Wayllabamba (3 000m), located in a beautiful valley surrounded by hills and forest. 17:00 Tea time. 18:30 Dinner.   4. Day 4: Wayllabamba - Warmiwañusca (Meals B,L,D) Camp

    Inca Trail. Route: 13 km in 7.30 hours. 06:00 Wake up, have a cup of tea. We have 30 to get ready and have breakfast; you will be provided with a snack for the trail. 07:10 Climb slowly, contemplating the countryside: different types of trees, medicinal plants and flowers, as well as birds native to the area. After two hours of walking we reach Llulluchapampa where we rest for 20 minutes before carrying on to Warmiwañuska (the Dead Woman), which is the highest point on the Inca Trail (4,200 m.a.s.l.), where we rest again and then descend for 15 minutes before stopping for lunch. Our service personnel will provide a drink and lunch, you will have time to rest before continuing (if we lunch before the pas) but if we lunch at Pacaymayo we rest until the following day. 17:00 Tea time 19:00 Dinner. In this zone we will see deer and, if we are lucky, spectacled bears. (OVERNIGHT AT CAMPING)
  5. Day 5:  Warmiwañusca – Wiñayhuayna (Meals B,L,D) Camp

    Inca Trail. Route: 15 km in 7 hours. 06:00 Wake up and have a cup of tea. When we are ready we have breakfast. This is an interesting day, we have 4 sets of ruins to visit and the guide will provide information on them all. Runkurakay is our first destination, which could have been a monitoring point used by the Incas on this road; we then traverse the second pass on the trail, at a height of 3 925m, where we can see the mountains with their permanent snow cover, especially Mount Pumasillo, which is more than 6 000 m.a.s.l.; we then descend to Sayacmarca, for a guided visit. Then to Chaquicocha for lunch, a drink and a rest before we continue; the scenery is now completely different, with moss, ferns and dense vegetation, as we are now on the edge of the jungle; after 1 hour and 30 minutes. We then reach Phuyupatamarca where there are Inca ruins of the same name, for a guided tour, in the distance we can see Mount Salkantay; we then descend to the Wiñayhuayna complex down more than a thousand steps through beautiful vegetation. Dinner at Wiñayhuayna is special: a buffet with wine, but before tea time. The following day we get up in the very early morning. (OVERNIGHT AT CAMPING)
  6. Day 6: SunGate - Machu Picchu – (Meals B,)

    Inca Trail – Machu Picchu / Cusco. Route: 6 km in 2 hours. 03:30 am this is the most important day of the Inca Trail: we reach Machu Picchu, the pinnacle of the trip for many visitors. The idea is to reach Intipunku or (Sun gate) in an hour to see the sunrise and take photographs before descending to Machu Picchu. Marvelous Machu Picchu you have no equal! Here we will get a two and a half hour guided tour of all the most important features followed by some free time in which to return and take more photographs or simply to rest in Machu Picchu. At 1:00pm you will catch a bus to Aguas Calientes town free time for lunch (own cost) we recommend Indio Feliz restaurant. Then you must go to the train station 30 minutes before to catch the Vistadome train leave at 4:22pm the train ride two hours till Ollantaytambo, then by bus two hour more Cusco ends 8:00pm.   7. Day 7: Cusco / Lima

    Breakfast in the Hotel and transfer to the airport. End of our services.
