  1. Day 1: Arrive to Cuzco: City tour around

    Upon your arrival to Cusco, we will take you to the hotel and then join your guide for a briefing about the wonderful tour that awaits you. Today, begin the day with a tour of Cusco enjoy the sights of Cusco´s the capital of the Incas. The indigenous and colonial heritages then spend the remainder of the day at leisure “by exploring Cusco’s nightlife or sampling some of its many typical restaurants. Afternoon City Tour
    • We will pick you up at 1:20pm. From your hotel to start the tour and visiting the following places.
    • The Koricancha: Temple of the sun.
    • The Cathedral: Marvel of the religious art.
    • Sacsayhuaman: Majestic place with impressive works in stone, some up to 120 tons.
    • Q´enqo: (Labyrinth) a religious center dedicated to the adoration of the Earth.
    • Puca Pucara: (reddish place) that was used as a military control center.
    • Tambomachay: (Temple of the Water) a center of adoration and worship of water.
  2. Day 2: Full- Day Sacred Valley Tour

    Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel between 8:20am, followed up by an excursion to the Urubamba Valley, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the Inca monuments around Pisac and the picturesque Indian Pisac Market, the shopping paradise of the Andes where bartering is still practiced. Enjoy the unique atmosphere together with a typical lunch. In the afternoon, while you pass through the Towns of Calca and Urubamba, you’ll visit the Inca Fortress and Citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to guard the entrance to this part of the Valley, and protect it from possible invasion from the tribes in the Lower jungle. There you can walk through the quaint streets of the town and get a good idea how this strategic military, religious, and agricultural center was like during the era of the Inca Empire. On your way back to Cusco, you’ll stop at the picturesque Andean Village of Chinchero to visit the ruins of the Royal Hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui. Admire a well-preserved Inca Wall in the Main Square and visit the beautiful Colonial temple built on Inca foundations late afternoon at 19:35 hrs arriving at Cusco.
  3. Day 3: Cusco – Classic Inca trail (Meals: L,D) Camp

    Breakfast in the Hotel. Route: 12 km in 4 hours; you will be picked up from your hotel between 4a.m / 04:30 am.We leave for the Km.82 waypoint, but first a stop in a restaurant in Urubamba for breakfast (optional); then a two hour bus journey to the Km. 82 waypoint; (Piscacucho). The guide will organize the group for registration at the control point on the entrance to the Inca Trail; the first thing we see is the River Vilcanota, which we cross without difficulty by a fixed bridge, followed by two hours of walking to the community of Miskay where we will have lunch and rest before continuing. 40 minutes later we reach a place called Llactapata or Patallacta where the first ruins are located; it may have been an agricultural center that provided food to Machu Picchu. The guide will tell you about Llactapata and afterwards we continue for two hours as far as Wayllabamba (3 000 m.a.s.l.), located in a beautiful valley surrounded by hills and forest. 17:00 Tea time. 18:30 Dinner.
  4. Day 4: Inca Trail – (Meals B,L,D) Camp

    Inca Trail. Route: 13 km in 7.30 hours. 06:00 Wake up, have a cup of tea. We have 30 to get ready and have breakfast; you will be provided with a snack for the trail. 07:10 Climb slowly, contemplating the countryside: different types of trees, medicinal plants and flowers, as well as birds native to the area. After two hours of walking we reach Llulluchapampa where we rest for 20 minutes before carrying on to Warmiwañuska (the Dead Woman), which is the highest point on the Inca Trail (4,200 m.a.s.l.), where we rest again and then descend for 15 minutes before stopping for lunch. Our service personnel will provide a drink and lunch, you will have time to rest before continuing (if we lunch before the pas) but if we lunch at Pacaymayo we rest until the following day. 17:00 Tea time 19:00 Dinner. In this zone we will see deer and, if we are lucky, spectacled bears.
  5. Day 5: Inca Trail – (Meals B,L,D) Camp

    Inca Trail. Route: 15 km in 7 hours. 06:00 Wake up and have a cup of tea. When we are ready we have breakfast. This is an interesting day, we have 4 sets of ruins to visit and the guide will provide information on them all. Runkurakay is our first destination, which could have been a monitoring point used by the Incas on this road; we then traverse the second pass on the trail, at a height of 3 925 m.a.s.l., where we can see the mountains with their permanent snow cover, especially Mount Pumasillo, which is more than 6 000 m.a.s.l.; we then descend to Sayacmarca, for a guided visit. Then to Chaquicocha for lunch, a drink and a rest before we continue; the scenery is now completely different, with moss, ferns and dense vegetation, as we are now on the edge of the jungle; after 1 hour and 30 minutes. We then reach Phuyupatamarca where there are Inca ruins of the same name, for a guided tour, in the distance we can see Mount Salkantay; we then descend to the Wiñayhuayna complex down more than a thousand steps through beautiful vegetation. Dinner at Wiñayhuayna is special: a buffet with wine, but before tea time. The following day we get up in the very early morning.
  6. Day 6: Inca trail & Machu Picchu – (Meals B,)

    Inca Trail – Machu Picchu / Cusco. Route: 6 km in 2 hours. 03:30 am this is the most important day of the Inca Trail: we reach Machu Picchu, the pinnacle of the trip for many visitors. The idea is to reach Intipunku in an hour to see the sunrise and take photographs before descending to Machu Picchu. Marvelous Machu Picchu you have no equal! Here we will get a two and a half hour guided tour of all the most important features followed by some free time in which to return and take more photographs or simply to rest in Machu Picchu. In the afternoon we meet at Aguas Calientes town where you will be given your train tickets and return to Cusco. Transport to your chosen hotel on your return to Cusco.
  7. Day 7: Cusco / Lima

    Cusco / Lima -departure. Breakfast in the Hotel. Transport from your hotel to the airport. Assistance with check-in. End of our services.
